About Meraki Theatre Company
Why choose the name 'Meraki'?
Meraki encapsulates everything we believe in as a company. It means creativity and to be passionate about doing something that you love. I have had a love for theatre since I was a child and I am excited to bring some of my favourite shows to Basingstoke audiences.

What makes Meraki Theatre Company different from other theatre companies?
Our main goal is to make theatre accessible to those who may not usually get a chance to take part in it. We aim to make taking part in our productions affordable and to make sure that our rehearsal spaces and performance venues are accessible to our cast and crew. As a member of the disabled community myself, it is very important to me that opportunities are provided to those who often aren’t able to take part in the amateur dramatics scene.
