Jess Phillips
Graphics
Jess has been treading the boards of the musical theatre world since she was seven. With a passion for storytelling and dressing up, Jess loves performing and being part of the creative process for shows - and in all honesty, just being silly and having a good time. Having had a short break from shows, she is buzzing to get back on the wagon and into the performing world again.
She has a creative background and expertise in website development, graphics, logo design and illustration. With a passion for promoting awareness of neurodiversity and minority groups, Jess is very excited that Meraki Theatre Company is a safe space that facilitates the involvement of everyone, regardless of background.
Emily Hudson
Marketing & Social Media
Emily blends her love for musical theatre with a creative flair for marketing. She’s passionate about crafting engaging campaigns that spotlight the heart and soul of each performance, while celebrating the diversity of voices and perspectives within the theatre world.
Her journey into the world of social media marketing began with running her own business, and later blossomed while working as part of the creative team for Annie Jr. It was there that she discovered the thrill of creating content connecting audiences to the magic of live theatre.
At Meraki Theatre Company, she’s especially excited about being part of a company that champions lesser-known musicals and provides a safe, inclusive space for performers from all backgrounds to thrive.

Charles Phillips

Charles has been working behind-the-scenes in amateur theatre shows since the age of 14. He’s done it all, from making props to being in charge of making people “fly”. Charles is excited to be working with Meraki Theatre Company as their backstage lead and to be a part of making theatre more accessible to performers in and around Basingstoke.
